Photo of the Day Wednesday 15th August 2012 – Not the Quality Spa Resort Hotel, Norefjell
Thought for the day….” Laughing is good exercise. It’s like jogging on the inside. ”
So will it all happen in September?? Will Greece finally leave the Euro then? And who will be next?? Interesting times coming up…
Bit of bird life for the photo today and the New Zealand Kea, which is an alpine parrot found on the South Island of New Zealand. These birds are actually intelligent, and can be a problem for campers and hikers as they are very good at stealing food and other objects. They are even known to remove rubber seals from car windows. Up to about 45cm when adult, although the one in the photo is a young one (as can be seen by the yellow eye rings). Since receiving full protected status, their numbers have increased again. The name is said to come from their characteristic call, kea.
Happy not to be working at the Quality Spa Resort Hotel in Norefjell.
