Photo of the Day Tuesday 1st January 2013 – Not the Quality Spa Resort Hotel, Norefjell.
Thought for the day….” Life is like a camera. Just focus on what’s important. Capture the good times. Develop from the negative, and if things don’t turn out, just take another shot.
Did you know that an ostrich’s eye is bigger than its brain?
Starting the year with a photo from the prettiest part of New Zealand, Lake Wanaka. The photo is from the lakefront in the town centre, looking down towards Black Peak and the Southern Alps. Just left of centre in the mountains at the back is the Treble Cone ski area. The lake was originally called Lake Pembroke, and is 42km long, with several islands in it. It is situated around 44 degrees south, and has an area of around 180 square kilometres. Great place for watersports !!!
