Photo of the Day Sunday 20th January 2013 – Not the Quality Spa Resort Hotel, Norefjell.
Thought for the day…..” Life does not get easier, you just get stronger”.
“I will not say I failed 1000 times, I will say that I discovered that there are 1000 ways that can cause failure (Thomas Edison).”
“Holding onto anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intention of throwing it at someone else, you are the one that gets burnt”.
A nice animal photo today, and the Rothschild Giraffe. There are estimated to be only 670 of the Rothschild Giraffe left, and it is found only in Zambia. The lifespan of a giraffe is between 20 and 25 years, with tree leaves and bushes being their main diet. Males can weight up to 1600 kg and have a very large heart, which can pump up to 16 gallons of blood a minute. The sleep only about 2 hours each day, often in short naps of 10 minutes. Lions are their main predators.
