Photo of the Day Sunday 24th March 2012 – Not the Quality Spa Resort Hotel, Norefjell.
Thought for the day…”If you can smile when things go wrong then you probably have somebody in mind to blame”
“Light travels faster than sound. That is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak”.
A photo of a boy in a small village in Malawi today. Until 1964 it was known as Nyasaland, but then became Malawi. The capital is Lilongwe and the money is the kwacha (MK). English and Chichewa are the two official languages. The main feature of Malawi is the lake, which stretches for 580km. The lake was originally called Lake Nyasa, which gave the former name to the country. Transport around the country is a problem, and it is not unusual to see a 12 seater minibus carrying 25 people, plus baggage !!
