Photo of the day Saturday 6th April 2013 – Not the Quality Spa Resort Hotel, Norefjell.
Thought for the day….”Take care of your body, it is the only place that you have to live”.
“Practice puts brains in your muscles”. “Good humour is the health of the soul, sadness is its poison”.
Off to Switzerland for the photo today, and to the Old Town in Zurich. Switzerland has a population of around 8 million people, with about 63% of them speaking Swiss-German. Around 20% speak French and around 6% speak Italian. Apparently, there are more banks than dentists in Switzerland, and also more Starbucks coffee shops than banks. Zurich is also home to Europe’s largest clock face. According to Bilanz business magazine, the richest man in Switzerland is Ingvar Kamprad, the Swedish founder of IKEA. The city of Zurich also has over 1200 fountains, with around 1.9 million people living in the Zurich metropolitan area.
