Jeritilley A picture is worth a thousand words..

Photo of the Day Saturday 4th May 2013 – Not the Quality Spa Resort Hotel, Norefjell

Thought for the day…” We all have stumbling blocks, the import thing is turning them into stepping stones”

” You do not know where you are going if you are always looking back”.

Built on more than 14 islands, Stockholm is the capital of Sweden lies at almost 60 degrees north, meaning cold and dark winters and a short summer.  The city has a population of around 900 000 people, although over 2 million live in the metropolitan area.  It is said to have one of the world’s most expensive public transport systems in the world.  Sweden is also said to have the highest number of Mcdonalds stores per capita in the world.

The photo today is from Stockholm, looking across the water towards the Gamla Stan/Old Town, on 1st May 2013
