Photo of the Day Tuesday 4th June 2013 – Not the Quality Spa Resort Hotel, Norefjell.

Thought for the day..” Time heals all wounds, but only wisdom keeps them from reopening”

” We may all have come on different boats, but we are all in the same boat now” (Martin Luther King)

I was not surprised to read recently that airlines are topping the list for bad customer service.  If the ‘service’ that I have experienced with Air France is anything to go on, then the bad reputation is well deserved.   Not only is the onboard service poor, but the ground ‘service’ from Air France is just as bad.    The good thing is that I can vote with my wallet, so Air France have not seen any of my money for a good long time.   I thought that the French were famous for good food until I flew with the French airline.   Also near the top of the bad airline service list would probably be SAS, another airline whose staff seem to forget that it is the customer who is actually paying their wages.  Again, SAS lost out a long time ago, the experience before Christmas turned me off them for life.  That said, there are some airlines that are FAR better and whose staff do take care of passengers properly.   Airlines like Qatar Airways show just how it should be done.  I just hope that Air France and SAS go out of business fast, life it too short to experience bad airlines.

Sunset over Lake Wanaka, New Zealand for the photo today, with some magical light.   Magical light for a magical place, and as they say there, ‘life the way it should be.’
