Jeritilley A picture is worth a thousand words..

Photo of the Day Thursday 13th June 2013 – Not the Quality Spa Resort Hotel, Norefjell

Thought for the day…” If a farmer is an expert, does that mean that he is outstanding in his field?”.

” Nothing is impossible.  The word itself says I’m Possible”   (Audrey Hepburn).

” The habits that took years to build do not take a day to change”.

Unusually warm weather in Sweden recently led to some train drivers there wearing womens skirts.   Their employer, Arriva, refused them permission to wear shorts, so as a protest, some drivers wore womens skirts instead.    The logic was that if women were allowed to wear them, then of course, men would also be allowed to wear them.  But after 2 weeks of the protest, their employer has relented, so soon they will be allowed to wear shorts.

A burst of colour for the photo today, and a photo of the market in Gonder, Ethiopia.   Did you know that yellow and orange colours stimulate the appetite?    Can you think of any fast food restaurants that have bright yelow and orange colours?  Red stimulates a faster heartbeat and faster breathing, and also stimulates appetite.   Chromatophobia  is the fear of colour.  Lots of colour in today’s photo to brighten the day.

Happy that I am not working at the Quality Spa Resort Hotel in Norefjell.
