Sunrise in New Zealand
Thought for the day……” You have succeeded in life when all you really want is only what you need”
“You never fail until you stop trying”
Three photos from the same spot showing the sunrise in Riverton, South Island of New Zealand. Riverton lies at 46 degrees south, and has a population of about 1431 people, although this has been decreasing and the number of empty houses increasing. Originally a whaling town, it later changed to a logging town, helped by the arrival of the railway. Surfers often visit the town due to the surfing at nearby Colac Bay. Riverton is on almost the same latitude as Punta Arenas in Chile. Just after taking the third photo, it was time to put the camera away and head back for the first coffee of the day, always the best one !
