Photo of the day Tuesday 19th February 2013 – Not the Quality Spa Resort Hotel Norefjell.
Thought for the day…..” Don’t put the key to happiness in someone else’s pocket “.
“Good judgement comes from bad experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgement”.
Did you know that the first photograph is considered to be ‘The view from the window” taken in 1826. The exposure time for the photo was 8 hours. In 1839 Fox Talbot invented the negative, whilst the first colour photograph came in 1861, made by the British scientist James Maxwell. The first digital camera came in 1973, and had a resolution of 100 x 100 pixels. The most expensive camera sold at auction was a 1923 Leica which was sold for USD 2.8 million at auction in Vienna, Austria. There are 12 Hasselblad cameras on the moon, they were left there after lunar landings so that more lunar rock could be brought back to earth.
